1. As
Customs Broker, International Shipping Line handles the import cargo
clearance through the Ports and Customs. For the clearance of normal
import cargo, following documents are required:

Commerce invoice

of Origin
- Packing
List
- Trade
License copy of the consignee
- Consignee's
custom code number

Transit cargo clearance - following documents are required:

Export Cargo - For completing the export declaration through
customs, following documents required:
- Original
Invoice for the Cargo being exported

Clearance of import documents through Customs:
- Custom
duty .... at 4% on the C.I.F value. All commercial goods are
dutiable except Food items. Raw materials for manufacturing
of goods are also duty exempt (for which special permissions
are to be obtainable).
- Transit
Cargoes - duty deposit at 4% of the C.I.F. value to be kept,
and refundable if the goods exit within the stipulated time.
- Re-export
cargoes: cargoes can be custom cleared through the customs
if the importation is for a re-export purpose, and in this
case 4% of the C.I.F. value to be kept as deposit and same
will be refunded if the cargoes are re-exported within the
time frame after completing the necessary formalities
(exit/entry certificate is completed - amply proving by the
customs officials that the goods are exported).
